Start your pension

You need your NemID and information about your and your partner’s financial situation, if relevant, such as salary, assets and debt.

Pension Start is our online tool developed in collaboration with Denmark’s leading experts. You will receive an invitation to Pension Start via email. We recommend that you complete it as soon as possible to ensure that you have the right pension scheme – from the outset.

Your pension scheme is important for you and your family. Today and in the future. With Danica Pension Start, we help you customise your pension scheme to fit your exact needs.

By customising your scheme, you can be secure in the knowledge that the insurance covers included in your pension scheme protect you and your family financially if you are unable to work for a period of time or if you die before reaching retirement age. And you ensure that you save up enough for when you retire.

You will need the following
– when you start your pension:

  • NemID
  • Your monthly salary and your partner’s monthly salary, if relevant
  • Home equity if you have an owner-occupied dwelling
  • Other debt and equity of your household, such as savings, value of holiday house, consumer loans, etc.

60% of Danes worry if they have saved up enough money for their retirement.
